This post is about artwork behind a Chinese-Mexican fusion restaurant. Honestly the artwork was so striking and stunning that I didn’t think it would benefit from a filter but the Lo-Fi really changed my mind. The saturation of the colors adds that eye-catching detail that might hook viewers for a few seconds before they continue scrolling away. Additionally, the use of #’s with emoticons as well seem particularly useful to grabbing additional audience members but maybe it’s the cartoon pictures that speaks to my whimsical nature or just nostalgia for childhood cartoons. Regardless, I think this nostalgia will translate in additional views and likes through this social media platform. I would be curious in seeing the metrics for more popular #’s used by creators or if the only data available to creators is their individual metrics. I’m sure many people would want to see the inside of Instagram’s algorithm. With the rise of AI algorithms through ChatGPT and AI Art generators like Midjourney or DALL-E and others. Will this be used similar to fusion and other artistic integrations that are more than the sum of its parts or will this show the limitations of human artists?

The “Space Opera Theater” is mesmerizing. It is difficult to describe its visual attraction but it has an irresistible draw. Maybe that will be next week’s post. Try to emulate Allen’s work with my own interstellar creation.
