For this week’s post, I decided I wanted to post a video on TikTok of me getting ready for and attending a “Galentines Day” event. Recently, videos of people getting ready to attend events or just their every-day routines have become increasingly popular. It mainly pertains to the female audience, because it usually involves a girl doing their makeup while simultaneously speaking on different topics. I captioned it with hashtags such as #fyp, #grwm, #galentines, etc. Since I decided to post last minute, I did not attract a large audience before writing my reflection. I received 112 views, 14 likes, and 2 comments. I found this to be a fun, new idea that I will consider for the future.
