I created my first ever Instagram post. I chose the social media platform, Instagram, because I thought it would be the most interesting and easy one to do. Therefore, I posted a picture of a sunset that I took while I was driving around with my friends. I love sunsets and I always take a picture of them whenever I can, so I thought taking a picture of a sunset I found very pretty was the appropriate first post to make. I used hashtags because that is a tool that Instagram allows for someone to gain more traction in their posts. I used the hashtags #photooftheday, #instagram, and #sunset. I gained four followers, four people liked my post, and I had four comments. Another feature Instagram had that I thought was interesting was the “like” and “pinned comment” feature. These features allow you to like comments and pin a comment that you like best, and this will show up on top of you Instagram post under the comments.
